Allan McGregor will miss next Sunday’s Glasgow derby due to suspension.
The Ibrox keeper was given a straight red card by Bobby Madden in the 89th minute of today’s 1-0 win over Hibs for attempting to kick out at Marc McNulty.
With the game virtually meaningless McGregor was clearing the ball from his own penalty box when he tried to follow through with his clearance to injure the Hibs striker.

The incident was spotted by the assistant on the Sandy Jardine Stand side of the park with Madden order.
Speaking after the match Steven Gerrard admitted that the incident was ‘difficult to defend’ which should rule out the prospect of an appeal.
Ross McCrorie took over in goals for the closing minutes with Wes Foderingham expected to be in the side to face the champions next week.
McGregor has picked up four bookings this season plus a retrospective red card from the win over Aberdeen on February 6.
