The race for the Reserve League title will be resolved on Monday afternoon with Celtic’s final fixture switched to coincide with the final match of their Ibrox challenges.

Celtic were scheduled to play St Johnstone on Friday but that has been put back three days to avoid a clash with Billy McNeill’s funeral.

Falkirk are scheduled to meet Graeme Murty’s starlets on Monday at 2pm but there is some doubt over whether they will be able to raise a squad with many of their players out of contract on Saturday with no youth teams to call on.

If they can’t fulfil the fixture the Ibrox side will be awarded a 3-0 win meaning that Celtic would have to win by SEVEN goals to take the title on goal difference.

Tommy McIntyre will need to assess his walking wounded today following last night’s Glasgow Cup success with Jack Aitchison, Mikey Johnston and Wallace Duffy all being injured last night. Skipper Kerr McInroy was in crutches last night watching the game after picking up a knock in the 3-1 win over Motherwell.
