Chris Sutton has named Olivier Ntcham, Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic as being ‘miles off it’ this season.

All three have made massive contributions to Celtic’s run of seven domestic trophy successes but have failed to hit the heights this season.

Whoever is in charge of Celtic next season has some big decisions to make but will certainly be hoping that all three midfielders are firing on all cylinders next term.

In the Daily Record Sutton explained:

Olivier Ntcham has been poor. He has so much potential and has gone backwards this season.

I’m a huge fan of Tom Rogic yet he has looked miles off it this season bar one good spell before Christmas. He’s had injuries but needs to get his fitness levels to an acceptable level while Scott Sinclair is a shadow of the player he was.

He’s lost his confidence, has become hesitant on the ball. Sinclair’s numbers look good but his displays have been sub-standard.

Sinclair and Ntcham have no international fixtures this summer and can come back refreshed for pre-season. Rogic will be involved with Australia in a friendly away to South Korea on June 7 which falls 19 days before Celtic’s first pre-season match in Austria.

Rogic and Sinclair are likely to start in today’s match at Aberdeen with both players having good scoring records against Derek McInnes’ side.

Celtic require just one point to clinch the title but will be looking for their sixth successive win at Pittodrie, following on from the 4-3 win in December where Sinclair scored a hat-trick.
