Kieran Tierney is back in the Celtic side to face Aberdeen today alongside Timo Weah.

The on loan Paris Saint Germain forward was missing from the match day squad that faced Kilmarnock last week prompting speculation that he had fallen out of favour with Neil Lennon.

Weah comes in for Scott Sinclair on the left wing with Tierney sitting behind him, replacing Emilio Izaguirre in the starting XI.

Last week’s 1-0 win over Kilmarnock took Celtic to a point away from an eighth successive title for the second time in their history.

With three matches left to play today’s match is the opportunity to put the issue to bed and begin preparations for the Scottish Cup Final in three weeks time.

Although Aberdeen are well out of contention this season there is certain to be an edge to the fixture after the fiery Scottish Cup semi-final between the two clubs last month at Hampden.

Dom Ball and Lewis Ferguson were both sent off in that match but are back in action today as the home side look to put a halt to Celtic’s run of five successive wins at Pittodrie.

CELTIC: Bain; Lustig, Ajer, Simunovic, Tierney; McGregor, Brown; Forrest, Rogic, Weah; Edouard

SUBS: De Vries, Sinclair, Toljan, Hayes, Benkovic, Ntcham, Burke
