Celtic became Scottish League Champions for the 50th time this year, when Neil Lennon stepped up to the helm and steered the ship to an eighth straight Premiership crown following Brendan Rodgers’ mid-season departure for English Premier League side Leicester City.

The interim manager’s time in control of the Hoops is in doubt, however, but the Glaswegian outfit cannot afford to let the uncertainty on the matter stand in the way of making waves in the transfer market, and see players who could make a difference next season secure deals elsewhere.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Timothy Weah, for one, should be a player the powers that be at Celtic Park have their eyes fixed on following his half-season in Green and White, even if Lennon refused to offer the future star from New York City a regular place in his starting eleven, and would go on to release the United States youth star before the season drew to a close.

That did not stop the teenager from cherishing his time competing in Scottish football, though, as the Under 20 international went on record earlier this month stating that he would welcome the chance to return to Celtic Park in the summer should the opportunity present itself, and certain websites on the internet, like https://www.Sportskokladenje24.com, believe that could still happen.

“There haven’t been any talks yet, [but] I will talk to my parents and lawyers [in the summer]. I have got a couple of options,” said the 6ft striker as he prepares for the U20 World Cup.

“Coming back to Celtic is definitely an option. The manager situation doesn’t matter to me. It’s more about the club and me feeling comfortable here.

“If you know you have the opportunity to develop and get game time, that is the most important thing at this stage. I’m ambitious and want to be somewhere where I can break into the first-team. These are the things you have to think about.”

Weah’s future at Les Parc des Princes is far from guaranteed at the moment, either, as reports have claimed the Ligue 1 champions have transfer listed the striker, even though his contract across the Channel has another two years to run.

Crystal Palace and Stade Rennais are also interested in signing the19-year-old this summer, who will make a decision on where he plays his football following the conclusion of the U20 World Cup in Poland.
