Henrik Larsson is back in football- as manager of Helsingborgs.
The Celtic icon was recently linked with a role in Neil Lennon’s backroom team but that won’t be happening as he returns to the club he quit in November 2016 after losing out in a relegation play-off.
Hellsingborsg are currently in third bottom place in the Allsvenskan after 12 matches forcing the club to sack Per-Ola Ljung after a run of 12 matches without a win.

Larsson also had an unremarkable spells in charge of Falkenberg and Landskrona which resulted in almost three years out of management despite his legendary status as a player.
Lennon has yet to add to his back-room team with John Kennedy and Damien Duff staying on as assistant coaches.

The Swedish season is currently having a mini-break with Helsingborg next in action on June 28 away to Orebro.
