Celtic have turned the spotlight onto the ProLegal Group after their magnificent offer for David Turnbull was rejected.
The Daily Record broke the story at 4.30pm today with Celtic responding with their own message less than an hour later.
#CelticFC was pleased to agree a record-breaking fee with Motherwell FC for David Turnbull and we have quickly followed this up with a fantastic offer to the player through his agent. (1/2)

Currently, we have been unable to come to an agreement with the player’s agent.#CelticFC is content that it has made a magnificent offer and it is now up to the agent and player to decide if the player wants to join Celtic.
If not, we move on. (2/2)

Liam O’Donnell is the man behind the Prolegal Group, with Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Christie among his clients he’ll know the going rate inside Celtic and what his client can expect to pick up down south.
With no meaningful action in England until August there is no rush to sign a teenager with less than 40 appearances in what is often looked on as ‘a Mickey Mouse/pub league’ by many down south.
Celtic’s interest in Turnbull became public a fortnight ago which should have provided ample time for Prolegal to smoke out genuine contenders from down south.
Unless they can find a club in a rush to commit the best part of £3m to their client they will have to return to Celtic early next week or send Turnbull back to Motherwell where the top basic wage is around £1,000/week.
