Celtic fans have slammed Charlie Adam over his plea for Kieran Tierney to move to England.
The out of work midfielder has never been noted for his interest in the welfare of Celtic players and has spent the last year pleading for a move to Ibrox.
Despite hoovering up free transfers on a weekly basis since the last season ended trophy-less Steven Gerrard has resisted the opportunity to sign his former Liverpool team-mate.
Adam has been cultivating his media career and knows that there is an enormous appetite for opinions that weaken Celtic. Apparently Arsenal are offering serious money for the hoops left-back but not many fans would think that a third of Aaron Wan Bissaka is worth giving consideration to.
The latest suggestion of an £18m offer rising to £25m if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League with the Gunners sixth favourites to win next season’s title.
Having earned more than £1m from Celtic before the age of 21 and with a contract running until 2023 Tierney isn’t going to be on the breadline any time soon, or be as desperate as Adam for a club or airtime to share his opinions.
