By most accounts it seems that Olivier Ntcham’s Celtic career is over.
The only questions to be answered are whether he goes to France or Portugal and how much the transfer fee will be.
When you are questioned by the French media it’s natural to say that Marseilles are a great club, a big club. Ntcham did that yesterday as he previewed the u-21 European Championships in Italy.
Back in the autumn Porto appeared on the scene with claims that they had an offer turned down for the midfielder during the summer transfer window.
The appetite for football news in Portugal supports three daily newspapers but they seem to be out of the loop over Porto’s interest in Ntcham.

The British press reported earlier this month the interest of Marseille, led by André Villas Boas, and FC Porto, Celtic Glasgow midfielder Olivier Ntcham.
In November Ntcham signed a new contract that runs until 2022, if any business is done it should be on Celtic’s terms with no room for risk taking as the hoops attempt to return to the group phase of the Champions League.
