Manny Perez will join Celtic for their pre-season matches in Austria and Switzerland- then return to complete the season with North Carolina.
Celtic signed the 20-year-old in January and opted to send him out on loan to the side which plays in the USL Championship (second tier).
Perez was described as a right-back when he joined Celtic but the North Carolina website describes him as a midfielder.

With Mikael Lustig now a GAA Kent player Tony Ralston is the only genuine right-back in the Celtic squad for their three pre-season matches.
At his media conference today Neil Lennon mentioned three or four areas that he was looking to strengthen with right-back certainly one of them.
With Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan moving on at the end of the season Celtic are currently down on three right-backs from the end of the season.
