David Turnbull has dropped Motherwell from his twitter biography.
The midfielder is expected to complete his transfer to Celtic over the next 48 hours to become Neil Lennon’s first signing since becoming manager on a permanent basis.

Transfer activity is often reflected on social media with fans keeping an eye out on changes and trends, once a player starts to follow future team-mates it is often a sure fire sign of transfer activity.
Recently it was noted that Olivier Ntcham had unfollowed most of his Celtic team-mates on Instagram, last Christmas Timo Weah suddenly took an interest in following Celtic players.
Motherwell announced last Wednesday that they had accepted an offer from Celtic but on Friday the hoops took to twitter pointing out that they had failed to agree terms with the players agent.
After a stand off over the weekend it seems that an agreement is close with Turnbull expected at Lennoxtown before the end of the week.
