Kundai Benyu could be about to get the ultimate Celtic experience- working with Henrik Larsson.

The midfielder moved on loan to Helsingborgs earlier this year but during a mini-break in the season they have decided to change manager.

While Larsson took training session today, ahead of his first match back in charge away to Orebro on June 28, Benyu was sharing a shopping picture in Toronto on Instagram.

Celtic signed Benyu on a four year contract from Ipswich Town in 2017 with only a development fee paid for the cross border transfer.

After making a bright impression in a couple of early season matches he found himself sent out on loan to Oldham Athletic but he only made four appearances before returning to Celtic.

When he was left out of the squad that went to Austria for pre-season training a year ago it seemed like it was all over for the 21-year-old with a year long deal to Sweden arranged in February.

It will take some exceptional work from Larsson to revive the career of Benyu, who still has two years to run on his Celtic deal.

Last week Charlotte Independece sacked Jim McGuinness, Mark Hill and Andrew Gutman are currently on loan at the American side..
