The President of Albania has tweeted a short video clip with Celtic fans in Sarajevo.

Ilir Meta was in the Bosnian capital for a round of meeting when he discovered some visiting fans enjoying the sights after a liquid lunch.

Putting his diplomatic duties to one side the President insisted in joining the bhoys for a song before sharing the video clip on his twitter account.

It’s not known whether Meta was able to watch the match or not but if he did he’d have heard a few familiar tunes as the away fans enjoyed a 3-1 win for Neil Lennon’s side.

With torrential rain lashing the stadium FK Sarajevo took the lead in the 29th minute but their celebrations were short lived with Mikey Johnston netting a spectacular equaliser.

After the break goals from Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair virtually booked Celtic a place in the second round, if he has space in his diary President Meta might wish to arrange some meetings in Macedonia towards the end of July when the bhoys are back in town.
