Bournemouth are believed to have joined the race to sign Jack Stacey.

Last week Celtic were reported by The Sun to be interested in the Luton defender with adding a right-back a transfer priority for Neil Lennon.

Over the last week Celtic have signed Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo and Luca Connell who can both play at left-back with Kieran Tierney and Johnny Hayes the regulars in that position.

Since lifting the Scottish Cup at Hampden the hoops have lost Mikael Lustig, Jeremy Toljan and Cristian Gamboa leaving Tony Ralston as the only recognised right-back at the club.

Despite being a right-back Stacey played left-back last season as Luton earned automatic promotion and is now attracting interest from the EPL, the Daily Mail reports:

Bournemouth are showing interest in Luton Town defender Jack Stacey. The 23-year old can play at right back or in midfield and has also drawn attention from Scottish champions Celtic. He made 50 appearances for Luton last season, scoring four goals and contributing eight assists, as they won promotion to the Championship.

There is an 11pm tonight deadline for signing players to play in the Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo although two ‘wild card’ signings can also be added by 11pm on Sunday.
