One Huddersfield Town fan has claimed that Tommy Smith has hugged manager Jan Siewert and left the club training camp in Austria.
The defender has been strongly linked with Celtic with Neil Lennon’s need for a right-back highlighted in last night’s Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo.

After playing with a flat back four during all three pre-season matches Nir Bitton was drafted into the a back three against Sarajevo before the hoops switched to a back four with Kris Ajer at right-back.
The young Norwegian put in his usual accomplished display at right-back but is clearly more comfortable and imposing from the centre of defence.
Smith has spent all his career with Huddesfield, making 16 appearances last season as their two year stay in the EPL came to an end.
The 27-year-old wasn’t used in today’s friendlies against Gruether Furth with all eyes now following to see if he is about to become Celtic’s fourth summer signing. Earlier in the week Jack Stacey, who was also linked to Celtic joined Bournemouth from Luton in a £4m deal.
Twitter account Dazza has 4,300 followers and is currently following Huddersfield on their pre-season tour.
When you are at your work, putting in a shift but you’d rather be watching Celtic…https://t.co/vCA5IJarY3
