Neil Lennon will wait to find out if Jozo Simunovic suffers any further punishment for his red card against St Gallen tonight.
The defender was ordered off after the referee took a second look at the 75th minute incident after instruction from the VAR studio.
With his boot above head height there can be no complaints about the decision but red cards in friendlies usually go without any follow up suspensions.
????? “It was a step up in quality and they got 90 minutes in their legs before Sarajevo.”

Lennon told Celtic TV:
The sending off is a sore one, we’ll need to wait and see the outcome of that. I don’t know what the rules are, it might not be in the referee’s report that gets sent to the SFA. We’ll have to wait for the outcome. First thing that I asked our staff was will he be eligible for next week
Simunovic will be free to play next week against Sarajevo with UEFA suspensions only applying to their own competitive matches.
If the incident is reported back to the SFA the defender could miss out on the SPFL opener against St Johnstone next month.
Kris Ajer also collected a booking during a lively pre-season friendly, new signing Christopher Jullien was left out as he works to bring his fitness upto scratch with the Frenchman unlikely to be thrown into a debut next week away to FK Sarajevo.
