Celtic appear to be missing out on Jose Cifuentes to Manchester City.
Neil Lennon confirmed Celtic’s interest in the Ecuadorian midfielder but it now seems that Cifuentes is about to be shipped out on loans as part of City’s football factory.
Cifuentes made a big impact at the u-20 World Cup in Poland last month making him a target for European clubs.
City Football Group (dueños del Manchester City) presentó una oferta formal a UC por José Cifuentes, todo debe resolverse en las próximas horas para la salida al exterior del jugador. Estamos a las puertas del primer gran traspaso después del MundialSub20.

Although Luca Connell has been added to the Treble Treble squad Lennon is clearly looking to bring in a midfielder or two.
The hoops almost signed David Turnbull from Motherwell but that deal was shelved after issues appeared on his medical.
Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie have started the season impressive but there has been reports of interest in Tom Rogic and Olivier Ntcham.
With the EPL transfer deadline closing at 5pm on August 8 City will have to move quickly before placing Cifuentes out on loan.
