Arsenal are reported to be ‘revising’ their offer for Kieran Tierney after having a second bid for the defender rejected.

Unai Emery is believed to have a £45m budget to work with as the impact of a third season without Champions League football hits home.

The club’s recruitment team are having to be creative with that fund with their second bid for Tierney reported to consist of a guaranteed £18 with the remaining £7m performance related.

Celtic have no need to sell Tierney but can brace themselves for another offer from Arsenal according to a transfer update in the Daily Mail:

Arsenal are pushing to sign Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan from Real Madrid and have asked Gremio about a £32m deal for winger Everton Soares.

They have agreed a deal with St Etienne for William Saliba with the defender being loaned back. The north London outfit are also revising their offer for Celtic and Scotland full-back Kieran Tierney.

Despite the strong transfer interest Tierney has yet to start full pre-season training after being troubled by a long standing Osteitis pubis condition.

With the transfer deadline for EPL clubs falling at 5pm on August 8 it’s unlikely that Tierney will have played when the window closes on Arsenal.
