Someone on Sky News has a wicked sense of humour- or a grudge with star sports reporter Andrew Dickson.

Enjoying a day at the All England Club on Wednesday, Dickson had his day ruined by the sight of someone in a ‘Selik tap’ watching alongside him on the Centre Court.

With players and spectators from across the globe it’s hardly a surprise to see the most easily recognisable sports shirt being worn by a fellow tennis fan.

Taking his distress to Twitter, Dickson, a former reporter on the Rangers website, was taken apart by Celtic fans but further humiliation was to follow this morning.

Sky News at 8.20am on a Saturday morning should be somewhere that he could tune into without that sinking feeling, another reminder of the eight times Scottish champions, the Treble Treble winners, now managed by Neil Lennon of all people.

Wrong. How wrong could you be! An article on prison form was to be discussed, joining the main presenter from another studio was Carl Cattermole, author of ‘Prison- A survival guide’.

On the home page for Pengiun Books you’ll find the following reviews:

‘Essential reading’
Will Self

‘We’re in the justice dark ages and Cattermole’s great book switches on the lights’
Dr Theo Kindynis, Lecturer in Criminology Goldsmiths, University of London

‘It has the potential to change a lot of people’s lives for the better’
Daniel Godden, Partner at Berkeley Square Solicitors’

But what happened next was a sight for sore eyes. What was Cattermole wearing but a Selik tap! Aye, Sky News, interviewing an expert in the studio and he has only decided to put on the 1995 Scottish Cup Final top, as worn by Paul McStay, Peter Grant, Pierre van Hooijdonk, Simon Donnelly and Jackie McNamara and others of that ilk.

What next, an interview with President Ilir Meta of Albania?
