Chris Sutton has jumped to the defence of Neil Lennon and the Celtic board after one fan turned on the manager after TWO matches!
A 2-1 home win over Sarajevo didn’t send the punters home in a state of excitement but it did take the hoops through to the second round on a comfortable 5-2 aggregate.
Celtic’s central defence looked all over the place as Sarajevo equalised midway through the second half which seemed to be just too much for one fan.
Slightly stupid tweet… 2 games in… 5-2 aggregate score and it was the board who gave him the job… nothing like being given a bit of time… the board have a responsibility to back the manager in the transfer market… rb and cf… https://t.co/atkT9qcDtu

New bhoy Boli Boligoli lost the ball out on the left, Nir Bitton was turned in the box with Tatar taking two touches before burying a low shot beyond Scott Bain.
That goal came entirely against the run of play but in the 73rd minute Callum McGregor restored Celtic’s lead with a low shot from the edge of the penalty box.
Celtic face Nomme Kalju next Wednesday at home in the first leg of their second round match with the third round draw being made on Friday morning.
