Despite being charged five more than locals for tickets Celtic have still to receive their allocation for tonight’s match with Cluj.

Seven hours before kick off Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor was still waiting for delivery of tickets to distribute to the travelling support.

Around 500 Celtic fans are in Romania with the trip the third foreign match in less than a month for the real diehards. It was only last Tuesday that Cluj were confirmed as Celtic’s third round opponents after they knocked out Macabbi Tel Aviv.

Celtic fans have been charged £36 for their tickets with home fans only paying the equivalent of £5 which is in contradiction of UEFA regulations.

Neil Lennon’s squad will steer well clear of local difficulties as they prepare for tonight’s match knowing that getting through this tie will take them into a Play Off against Slavia Prague for a place in the group stage of the Champions League.
