Jeremy Corbyn enjoyed a break from the political turmoil in the UK to watch Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Cluj in Romania.
The Labour Party leader just happened to be flying to Romania and appears to have been talked into going to watch Neil Lennon’s side in action.
Corbyn is a well known Arsenal fan but is unlikely to have been asking about transfer business as he joined the official Celtic party inside the Dr. Constantin R?dulescu stadium.
On a plane to Romania today I bumped into @CelticFC fans who invited me to join them watch their team play @CFR_1907_Cluj. So I did.@Oedouard22 impressed along with Celtic’s discipline and determination.

Odsonne Edouard led the line for Celtic, catching the eye of the Labour leader as the hoops reacted sharply to falling behind with a James Forrest equaliser.
That goal hands the advantage to Celtic for the return leg but the Romanian side drew 2-2 away to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last round with a similar result taking them through to the play-off.
Jozo Simunovic picked up a late injury in last night’s draw, if he fails to revover in time for Tuesday’s second leg Lennon could be fielding three defenders with less than a dozen Celtic appearances between them.
