Chris Sutton has trolled Steven Gerrard over the 86 minute champions of Scotland.
On the opening day of the SPFL campaign the stressed out Ibrox boss has come out with a comment that will be hard to beat over the coming 38 matches.

Is that due to the amount of goals Celtic score late on. Here’s another stat for you!
If Motherwell had won all the games they lost they’d have won the league— Fergus (@cfcfergus) August 3, 2019
The 86 minute stat has been a favoured one of the moon-howlers that call up radio stations and share their views on message boards.
Early in the season Gerrard watched Aberdeen and Motherwell score late equalisers against his side, in the early matches of Neil Lennon’s reign as Celtic caretaker Odsonne Edouard popped up with stoppage time winners away to Hearts and Dundee.
The fact that those views are being discussed within Ibrox must be a source of concern for the tiny minority of supporters with remaining rational thought.
Today Celtic unfurl the SPFL flag for the eighth season running as the 90 minutes and beyond champions of Scotland, the same format that is used in every league complying with FIFA rules.
Three years ago Dave King claimed that Celtic’s title successes when the tribute act were playing against taxi-drivers, plumbers and bin men didn’t really count.
