Neil Lennon had mixed news on the injury front after Celtic’s 4-1 win away to AIK in the Europa League.

Kris Ajer went off after 15 minutes to be replaced by Tony Ralston denying Celtic their most influential defender.

Ralston turned in a steady performance but there was more concern midway through the second hakf when Odsonne Edouard appeared to be labouring.

The striker was replaced by Vakoun Bayo in the 76th minute and looked to be in a little discomfort as he left the pitch.

Asked about the injuries Neil Lennon told Radio Scotland:

It’s a groin strain (Ajer) so he is probably very doubtful for Sunday and Odsonne should be fine, he came off with just a bit of cramp. He is fine, it’s not a hamstring.

Late in the game Christopher Jullien and Lewis Morgan scored their first goals for Celtic as the hoops won 4-1 on the night to go through on a 6-1 aggregate.

Celtic will be among the second seeds in tomorrow’s Europa League draw with Arsenal and Manchester United among the top seeds.

Long before the first group match Celtic have a date at Ibrox with fans hoping that Ajer and Edouard are in from the start and have 90 minutes in their legs for the derby clash.
