Celtic look set to face Cluj using the squad that saw off Nomme Kalju with Hatem Abd Elhamed the only addition to Neil Lennon’s options.

Last night’s third round signing deadline passed without any further activity although two ‘wild card’ players can be added to the squad by 11pm on Tuesday, the day before the first leg in Romania.

With Olivier Ntcham and Marian Shved impressing in the return leg against Nomme Kalju, Lennon has a number of options from middle to front but is more restricted at the back.

Christopher Jullien made his competitive debut in Estonia but alongside Jozo Simunovic he will have to sit out tomorrow;s SPFL opener against St Johnstone due to suspension.

That duo will be available to face Cluj which should leave Lennon with the likely option of picking Ajer at right-back in place of Tony Ralston. Elhamed is another option at right-back but much will depend on how Celtic fare against St Johnstone.

Looking slightly further ahead the Play Off draw for the Champions League will take place at 11am on Monday with Celtic/Cluj in the seeded part of the draw.
