Hatem Abd Elhamed is an injury doubt for Celtic’s Europa League play-off tie against AIK of Sweden.
The former Hapeol Be’er Sheva defender has settled quicker than any of Celtic’s other signings but is now a doubt for tomorrow’s match.

Neil Lennon says he isn’t taking any notice of any criticism of him or his Celtic players: “there’s a narrative going around that we may be a little bit off colour…we’re absolutely not & hopefully the players can come out & show that tomorrow” pic.twitter.com/2W7D6ux4HR

Switching Kris Ajer, assuming that he has overcome his shoulder injury, to right-back is the obvious move although Tony Ralston could also be called in to play.
Despite the defeat from Cluj in last week’s Champions League qualifier Celtic haven’t added any new signings with options light in both full-back positions.
It looks like any further transfer activity will wait until after the second leg in Sweden next Thursday when the hoops will know whether or not they will have European football until Christmas.
Despite returning to train with the first team today it’s unlikely that Tom Rogic will be seen in a Celtic shirt until after the September international break.
