Scott Sinclair will be in the Celtic squad to face Motherwell tomorrow.

The winger missed the midweek trip to Romania due to transfer speculation but yesterday’s 5pm English deadline passed without any deal being completed.

Lewis Morgan replaced the injured Mikey Johnston for the 1-1 draw with Cluj but struggled to make an impact before being replaced in the second half by Olivier Ntcham.

Sinclair was one of Brendan Rodgers’ key signings three years ago and scored more goals than anyone else during the Treble Treble success.

Towards the end of last season Celtic activated a 12 month option on his contract despite Johnny Hayes and Johnston regularly playing on the left wing.

Middlesbrough, Derby County, Preston North End and Sheffield United have all been linked with the 30-year-old but with the English window closed it looks like Sinclair will remain at Celtic at least until January.
