Karamoko Dembele is expected to be out of action for four weeks and will definitely miss next week’s Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup tie away to Falkirk.
The 16-year-old winger suffered a leg injury in training and according to a Video Celts source is unlikely to be back in action this month.
Dembele was missing from the Celtic Colts side that beat Queens Park 4-3 on penalties last night after a 2-2 draw.
Jack Aitchison and Armstrong Oko Flex scored in the first half but after a shoot out save from Ryan Mullen and a Queen’s penalty hitting the post recent signing Liam Burt scored the decisive penalty.
The second round tie at Falkirk is scheduled for next Tuesday but that looks certain to be shifted with the Celtic first team in action against Cluj on that date.
