He’s never been popular in Gorgie, he’ll never be the talk of the toon or seen in maroon.
Scott Brown and Hearts have a special relationship, just a degree short of love and hate.
The Celtic skipper started his career across the city at Easter Road and has always had a special feeling for the 2019 Scottish Cup runners-up and is never far from the thoughts of Craig Levein.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone marked this tightly. I think a foul was given for collapsing the maul pic.twitter.com/e2OPtnbRkr

Today that obsession spilled onto the park with five Hearts players ‘touch-tight’ with the Celtic skipper at a corner kick.
Brown isn’t exactly known for his scoring record from corners, or anywhere really but led by Christoph Berra none of the Hearts players were leaving anything to chance.
Hearts did keep Brown off the scoresheet, according to Levein they also kept Vakoun Bayo at bay but as they returned to Edinburgh with one point from nine matches the Jambos are further behind Brown that ever.
