Pictures have emerged of the confrontation between Scott Sinclair and the Motherwell groundsman.
Listeners to Radio Clyde’s Super-scoreboard programme were given live commentary on the incident as Gordon Dalziel watched on from the back of the main stand at Fir Park.
According to Dalziel the two men came very close to exchanging blows before another member of the Motherwell staff stepped in with the home groundsman led down the tunnel.

Sinclair was a 79th minute substitute for Celtic in their 5-2 win but has been a target for abuse from Motherwell fans for some time.
During the 2017 Betfred Cup Final he was fouled for the penalty that sealed Celtic’s win with the Motherwell fans and management unhappy about the incident.
Tree days later he scored again from the penalty spot as Celtic drew 1-1 at Fir Park to maintain their unbeaten domestic record under Brendan Rodgers.
Neither Celtic or Motherwel have commented on today’s incident.
