Chris Sutton has warned his abusers that they can expect a call from the Police.
The BT Sport pundit and Daily Record columnist is a favoured target for what some describe as trolls when the reality is that he is on the end of relentless abuse and threats.
Sutton often shrugs it off with a comment on the spelling and grammar of his detractors but the cloak of anonymity is about to be blown.
To all the people sending abusive messages. My daughter who is 7 had my phone at a sleepover last night. She has my phone regularly and was called all night. She is very upset. I will be sending photos of the culprits out and passing your details onto the police????

Within 20 minutes more than 100 comments were added to that tweet.
The former Celtic striker has established a reputation by breaking the mould with his outspoken views on all matters within the game.
Sticking strictly to footballing matters he was quick to highlight the failings of Ronny Deila, Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha and others.
Pointing out that second is failure in a so-called two horse race has made him a target but now it seems that a line has been crossed with repercussions on their way.
