Team News: Morgan in surprise starting role with Elhamed declared fit

Lewis Morgan is the surprise choice in the Celtic side tonight with the former St Mirren man replacing Mikey Johnston on the left wing with Hatem Abd Elhamed starting at right-back.

Johnston is out injured with Marian Shved replacing Scott Sinclair on the bench as Celtic take on the Romanian champions. Christopher Jullien has to settle for a place on the bench with Jozo Simunovic partnering Kris Ajer in central defence.

Celtic dismissed FK Sarajevo and Nomme Kalju to reach this stage but after beating Astana and Maccabi Tel Aviv the Romanian side are clearly of a different quality.

The hoops have been free scoring in the qualifiers this season with a goal or two tonight priceless for the return match at Celtic Park on Tuesday.
