Celtic will play Sheriff Tiraspol (of Moldova) or AIK if they fail to beat Cluj and drop into the Play Off round of the Europa League.
Two days before facing the Romanian champions the two options open to Neil Lennon’s side were uncovered at the lunchtime draw performed by UEFA.
Should the hoops get past Cluj they will take on Slavia Prague for a place in the group stage of the Champions League with the losers dropping into the group phase of the Europa League.
In either case Celtic will be at home in the first leg before travelling away in the midweek prior to the first Glasgow derby of the season wich will be played at Ibrox on Sunday September 1.
Neil Lennon will put all thoughts of play-off’s behind him as he prepares his side to take on Cluj with the hoops flying out to Romania tomorrow afternoon.
