Christopher Jullien has taken to twitter to share his pleasure at Celtic’s Betfred Cup win over Dunfermline.

The defender was prolific on social media in the build up to his £7m transfer but has been a little quieter as he first team chances have been limited.

Neil Lennon’s decision to leave Jullien and Boli Bolingoli on the bench against Cluj attracted attention with both men restored to favour for the win over Dunfermline.

After being short on game time the French defender was given 120 minutes as Celtic were taken to extra-time before James Forrest scored the winning goal.

Jullien replaced Jozo Simunovic in the centre of defence and could retain his place for Thursday’s Europa League Play Off against AIK of Sweden with a doubt over the fitness of Kris Ajer.

Lennon revealed that Ajer’s shoulder had popped out during the second half of yesterday’s match with that injury to be assessed over the next couple of days.
