Calvin Miller is reported to be a transfer target of Portsmouth.
The 21-year-old is in the final year of his contract with a minimal fee and sell-on option likely to secure a move to the League One outfit with their transfer window closing at 5pm on Monday.
Miller was given a couple of first team outings after being converted to a left-back by Brendan Rodgers after starting off as a striker or left-winger. In a summary of Celtic’s left-back options the Daily Record reported:
Young Calvin Miller is also interesting English League One side Portsmouth.
After signing a two year contract Miller went on loan to Dundee where he played regularly at left-back under Neil McCann. The 21-year-old returned to Celtic at the start of the January transfer window then moved on to Ayr United where he reverted back to a more attacking role.
With reported interest in Greg Taylor and Birger Meling and Boli Bolingoli arriving at the club it’s clear that Miller has no first team future at Celtic.
