Kris Boyd’s amazing u-turn over Celtic duo

Kris Boyd has named Boli Bolingoli and Christopher Jullien in his SPFL Team of the Week.

Leading upto the match the former Kilmarnock striker had predicted a 2-0 win for the home side with the new £10m defenders highlighted as the weaknesses in the Celtic side.

Apparently the loss of Kieran Tierney and Dedryck Boyata would be too much for the hoops to handle with Scott Boyd left exposed without the leaders who had helped the club to a Treble Treble.

After watching Sunday’s derby from the Sky Sports studio at Ibrox Boyd had an about turn as he named his Team of the Week in The Sun:

Lewis; O’Donnell, Lithgow, Jullien, Bolingoli; Hedges, Donnelly, Brown, Seedorf; Oakley, Edouard

Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed would have featured in most Celtic fans Team of the Week for their contributions at Ibrox.

Bitton stepped in to partner Jullien in central defence while Elhamed, after missing three matches, was outstanding at right-back before moving inside after Bitton was injured.
