Emilio Izaguirre has presented his son with a special memory of his time in Scotland with a Celtic themed wall featuring a familiar number three.
Milto Izaguirre grew up in Scotland watching his dad playing in the hoops and building a special rapport with the fans over two spells with Celtic. When it came to trophy days the family were always out in force.
A stint in Saudi Arabia didn’t suit the Izaguirre family with a return to Celtic arriving in August 2018 with Emilio a regular deputy for Kieran Tierney, making 13 SPFL appearances last season.
After leaving Celtic ar the end of last season it was expected that the defender would move to the MLS but instead he returned to Motagua who sold him to Celtic in 2010.
Despite the colours being worn by Milito in the picture there’s little doubt that if he follows the progress of Jordan Larsson a return to Glasgow will be one of his ambitions.
