Neil Lennon has revealed that Christpher Jullien suffered a short black-out during Celtic’s 1-0 win away to Hamilton Accies.

The former Toulouse defender suffered a head knock in a challenge with Marios Ogkmpoe that required more than four minutes of treatment.

Jullien lay on his back for most of the treatment but after stepping off the park he was back in action for the last 10 minutes as Celtic held on for full points.

Asked about injuries to his defenders Lennon told BT Sport: “They’re fine. Chris Jullien had a wee minute – a second or so – of a blackout, but he was able to finish the game out. He was outstanding again today, defensively we looked solid.”

Kris Ajer appeared to be limping at one stage in the second half with the Norwegian back in defence after missing the 2-0 win at Ibrox 13 days ago.

With Nir Bitton and Jozo Simunovic unlikely to play again this month Hatem Abd Elhamed is the only other central defender available to Lennon.

On the plus side Tom Rogic made his first appearance of the season, coming on for Mo Elyounoussi for the last 25 minutes with the Norwegian supplying an assist on his Celtic debut for James Forrest to score the only goal of the match.
