Odsonne Edouard is becoming a serious option for the French national side after scoring twice in the 5-0 win over Azerbaijan.
Last month the Celtic striker introduced himself to the u-21 side with doubles against Albania and the Czech Republic, in the opening match of Group 2 in the European Championships he scored twice in the first half before being substituted just after the hour mark.

Tomorrow the French national side face Iceland in a Euro 2020 qualifier with Olivier Giroud still a first choice striker.
The 33-year-old is struggling to get game time for Chelsea but has started all six of the Euro qualifiers after playing a lead role in last years World Cup success in Russia.
Time can suddenly catch up on strikers, if Edouard can hit the target away to Slovakia on Tuesday he may be coming into contention for a place in next summer’s European Championship Finals rather than the Olympic Games.
