Christopher Jullien has described Karamoko Dembele as a phenomenon to French TV station RMC Sport.

The Celtic teenager appears to be attracting a lot of attention in France after being named by L’Equipe as among the top six teenagers in European football.

Jullien has still to play alongside Dembele but seems to get a torrid time in training sessions against the 16-year-old with 45 minutes of first team football to his name.

Neil Lennon gave Dembele his first team debut in the second half of the final SPFL match of last season, at home to Hearts and put him on the bench for the Scottish Cup Final six days later.

All of the major clubs across Europe are keeping track of Dembele after You Tube highlighted his skills playing against kids a few years his elders.

Last week the 16-year-old scored for the England u-17 side against Spain with the kid with the broad Glaswegian accident highly rated among the array of talent available to the English youth set up at St George’s Park.
