Karamoko Dembele and Celtic team-mate Tobi Oluwayemi are in the England u-17 side playing Germany tonight.

Dembele has been the subject of some wild transfer speculation this week with scouts from the major clubs bound to be out in force at the Pinatar Arena, near Murcia.

England are playing the German’s twice either side of a match against Spain which should see the young Celtic forward return to full fitness after being out injured for more than a month. Dembele has played as a substitute in Celtic’s recent reserve matches against Morton and Albion Rovers, scoring in each match.

Oluwayemi joined Celtic from Spurs during the summer and is one of three goalkeepers in the squad which features the best prospects from the English Academy set up.

Dembele was born in London but his family moved to Glasgow when he was 1-year-old, although he has represented Scotland at international level he has made it clear that he now wishes to concentrate his international career with England.
