Fraser Forster has given his backing to the actions of the England players confronted by racism in Bulgaria.
Twice during the first half play was stopped following racist actions by the home supporters with the referee gathering players together as warning were read out over the Public Address system.
Before the match there had talk of players walking off the pitch if there were any racist chants but on the night the players stopped short of that action, following UEFA protocal.

The incidents were reported to captain Harry Kane who informed the referee with the match delegate bringing the game to a halt for the announcements.
Had a third warning been given the match would have been stopped but despite repeated incidents during the second half no further action was taken.
Part of the stadium in Sofia was already closed due to previous incidents with the Bulgarian FA awaiting further sanctions from UEFA for Monday’s incidents which were shown across Europe.
Forster was a member of England’s 2014 World Cup squad in Brazil.
