Vakoun Bayo could be out of action for an extended period after undergoing a scan today.
Yesterday when he revealed that the player was going for a scan on the knock he suffered at Aberdeen Neil Lennon still had the striker in his mind for Saturday’s Betfred Cup semi-final against Hibs.
Neil Lennon says Celtic captain Scott Brown tweaked his thigh so came off as a precaution. Also says Bayo could require surgery, if he does he could be out for 6 weeks or so pic.twitter.com/OxuBSt37a0

Leigh Griffiths is expected to resume full training tomorrow but two months on from his last outing it is too much to ask for the Scotland striker to step straight back into top team action.
Odsonne Edouard was the only striker available to Lennon for tonight’s 2-0 win over Hibs with the striker replaced by Lewis Morgan late in the game with the former St Mirren winger playing through the centre.
That is unlikely to be an option on an on-going basis with Mo Elyounoussi, who scored for the third SPFL match running, possibly the player most likely to provide back-up to Edouard.
