Neil Lennon believes that the appointment of Nicky Hammond brings stability to the club.
The Englishman was brought in to the club in July to assist with recruitment and appears to have made the best of difficult circumstances.
On Thursday Hammond was appointed of Head of Football Operations which seems to have a wider remit than recruitment.

Hammond was dropped in at the deep end during the summer with the clock ticking down towards Champions League qualifiers against the backdrop of Kieran Tierney’s transfer to Arsenal.
At most clubs the January transfer window tends to be one that is best avoided but with Celtic involved in UEFA qualifiers from early in July the January window takes on extra significance.
During the last January window Celtic’s only permanent signings were Vakoun Bayo and Marian Shved with short term loans bringing in Timo Weah, Oli Burke and Jeremy Toljan.
