Chris Sutton was quick off the mark as he trolled his media side-kick Robbie Savage after today’s SPFL action.
A fortnight ago the squeaky voiced Welshman was all over social media after Celtic were knocked off top spot in the Premiership table.
With the hoops beating Ross County 6-0 yesterday the pressure switched to Steven Gerrard’s side to respond when they visited struggling Hearts at Tynecastle.
A win would have taken them back to top spot, the position that Savage was so happy about a fortnight ago but the 1-1 draw leaves them in second place, trailing Celtic on goals scored.
.@btsportfootball Cracking game at Tynecastle ?? Honours even ?? Ikpeazu outstanding…Hearts 1-1 Rangers …Celtic stay top ??

Sutton and Savage are colleagues with BT Sport and BBC 5 Live with Sutton making no attempt to hide his fondness for the club that he played for under Martin O’Neill and Gordon Strachan.
Savage is a little more evasive about his interest in Scottish football and seems to only show an interest when Celtic are apparently in trouble.
