Conor Hazard was sent off after just 23 minutes of Norther Ireland’s 3-0 defeat to Romania in an u-21 European Championship qualifier.
The keeper could consider himself unlucky to be red carded for the clash with a Romanian forward but of equal concern will be his decision to race out of his penalty box.

At the time the match was goal-less but reduced to 10 men Hazard had to watch from the stand as Romania ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.
International football has given the keeper the opportunity to get some competitive action with Fraser Forster, Craig Gordon and Scott Bain all contending for a place at Celtic.
Earlier this year Hazard went on loan to Partick Thistle where he made 15 appearances with a similar deal probably planned for the January transfer window.
Fellow keeper Ross Doohan was on the bench yesterday as Scotland’s u-21 drew 0-0 away to the Czech Republic.
