Conor Hazard could be chucked into a head-to-head against Ross Doohan tomorrow night.

The young Irish keeper has joined Dundee on loan and is expected to go straight into James McPake’s side for the televised match (BBC Scotland) away to Ayr who have Doohan on loan for the second season running.

With Scott Bain back to full fitness Neil Lennon has allowed Hazard to go out on loan with an appendix operation for Dundee keeper Jack Hamilton facilitating an emergency loan.

Dundee go into the match on the back of a 3-1 home defeat from Partick Thistle which left them in fifth place, six points behind leaders Dundee United and just four above bottom placed Thistle.

Hazard has spent spells on loan at Thistle and Falkirk over the last two seasons and can look forward to facing Stephen Welsh (Morton) and Robbie Deas (Alloa) in the coming weeks.
