Jack Hendry and Daniel Arzani are in the Celtic side to face Albion Rovers in the Jock Stein Friendship Cup at Cliftonhill.
The teenage Australian got a brief run in a recent friendly against Hibs but can now attempt to get his match sharpness back as he completes his recovery from cruciate ligament surgery last season.
Celtic signed Arzani on a two year loan deal from Manchester City but with the club having an excess of wingers competing for two places he has a big task on his hands trying to get top team action.
Hendry was a late substitute in last week’s Betfred Cup win over Partick Thistle after missing the whole pre-season programme due to injury. Karamoko Dembele is among the Celtic subs with the team on similar lines to the one that beat Morton 4-2 in the Reserve Cup last week.
The Jock Stein Friendship Cup has been played for over a decade with Celtic yet to taste defeatl.
