Steve Clarke has named the side that beat Cyprus 2-1 on Saturday for tonight’s final European Championship qualifier against Kazakhstan.

Greg Taylor gets his third cap at right-back while Callum McGregor, James Forrest and Ryan Christie continue in the front six.

Scotland are looking for their third successive win in the group- after being hammered 4-0 in Russia to kill off any remote hopes of finishing in the top two.

Christie got Clarke’s side off to the perfect start with an early goal against Cyprus, showing the sort of form that quickly took his Celtic goal tally into double figures.

Scotland opener the campaign with a disastrous 3-0 defeat away to Kazakhstan in March with Alex McLeish limping on for another month before the SFA got around to sacking the former Hibs boss.

SCOTLAND: Marshall; Palmer, Gallagher, McKenna, Taylor; Jack, McGinn, McGregor; Forrest, Naismith, Christie

SUBS: McLaughlin, MacGillivray, Shinnie, Fleck, Morgan, Burke, Armstrong, Brophy, McBurnie, O’Donnell, Porteous
