Four of the five Celtic players in the squad start for Scotland against Cyprus today with Lewis Morgan on the bench.

Greg Taylor comes in at left-back with the midfield trio of James Forrest, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie included in the attacking roles alongside John McGinn, Ryan Jack and Steven Naismith who captains the side.

After being hammered home and away by Russia and Belgium today’s match is meaningless with EPL stars Andy Robertson, Scott McTominay, Kieran Tierney and Ryan Fraser missing through injury.

The absence of Robertson and Tierney has opened the door to Taylor who has only made one appearance since joining Celtic at the start of September from Kilmarnock.

Scotland complete their campaign at home to Kazakhstan on Tuesday with less than 20,000 expected inside Hampden.

In March Scotland will have a back-door chance to reach the finals of the European Championships by winning two matches based on topping their Nations League performance of finishing above Israel and Albania.
